The ship SLOWLY went to Honolulu Hawaii on the island of Oahu. Sea sickness needed to abate, sea legs acquired, classes attended on board, and meeting people from all over the country – settling in!

THEN appears the island!!!

Beaches! OOOH! I want to try one!

We only had a few hours in Hawaii while the ship refueled and restocked with food. Did we stay on the ship? NO!!! Let’s adventure and see what is here!

We crossed the International Dateline and lost a day. We celebrated the loss of that day with a fun service. I loved the humor and at 23 years old, staying up for fun until midnight was not a problem. Of special note…that day lost was my little sister, Debbie’s 10th birthday.
